CABAN’S KITCHEN GARDEN

THE ALLOTMENTS
We have a small but active allotment community at Caban where allotment holders work hard producing a range of fruit, veg and flowers. They also reap the physical and mental benefits of working an allotment and get to take home the fresh, delicious food.

OUR APPLE TREES
As well as the dedicated orchard, we have numerous apple trees dotted around the site. Their glorious blossom each spring is a magnet for the bees, happy bees, happy apple trees! Each autumn we harvest the apples, press and bottle the juice for our very own Caban Garden Apple Juice. Served by the glass in the cafe and available for sale in the shop.

CABAN'S HONEY
Nestled up in the orchard is our small apiary, which thanks to our volunteer beekeepers, has an active colony of honey bees, producing our very own Caban Garden Honey. Keep your eye out for jars of honey in the shop from late summer onwards.

THE POLYTUNNEL
Tended by our kitchen garden volunteers, the polytunnel provides year round growing space and is an important nursery for getting the kitchen garden going again each spring. Whether it is herbs, tomatoes, garlic or greens we try and bring in produce form the kitchen garden year round.
Conference Room
We have a dedicated meeting / conference room available for hire at Caban. The room is available for half day or full day use and is suitable for up to 12 people boardroom style, or twenty people theatre style.
We always aim to provide a friendly and efficient service to enable your meetings to run smoothly and productively. We will make every effort to accommodate any special requirements or requests that you may have. Caban’s popular cafe can cater for your requirements with buffet menus available to eat in the conference room or you can reserve a table in the cafe.
Tea, coffee, and cold drinks can always be provided.
Please contact us on 01286 685500 or email foh@caban-cyf.com with your requirements and we will be happy to provide a quotation.
