This is the heart of the building. A large curved room, oak floor with windows looking through the trees to the mountains and fine food.
The kitchen is steering a sensible line between organic, locally produced and fair-trade ingredients. The on-site kitchen garden produces fresh ingredients using our own labour.
Our head chef Aled Davies, developes menus that combine seasonality with global cuisine. Daily specials created by Aled and his team aim to make high quality food that remains affordable.
We would like Caban to be a comfortable place, where you can relax, taste fine produce and receive friendly service. In order to achieve this we welcome your comments.
Caban Cyf manages the building and site to provide, amongst other things, affordable workshops & studios for the local business community and to provide free services to our local schools. Any profit from the café will be used to further these objectives.
